A woman is having an affair during the day while her husband is at work. Her 9 year old son comes home unexpectedly, sees them and hides in the bedroom closet to watch. The woman's husband also comes home. She puts her lover in the closet, not realizing that the little boy is in there already. The little boy says, "It's dark in here." The man says, "Yes, it is." Boy ~ "I have a baseball." Man ~ "That's nice." Boy ~ "Want to buy it?" Man ~ "No, thanks." Boy ~ "My dad's outside." Man ~ "OK, how much?" Boy ~ "$250? In the next few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the lover are in the closet together. Boy ~ "Its dark in here." Man ~ "Yes, it is." Boy ~ "I have a baseball glove." Boy ~ "$750? Man ~ "Fine." A few days later, the father says to the boy, "Grab your glove, let's go outside and have a game of catch." The boy says, "I can't, I sold my baseball and my glove." The father asks, "How much did you sell them for?" Boy ~ "$1,000? The father says, "That's terrible to overcharge your friends like that… that is way more than those two things cost." "I'm going to take you to church and make you confess." They go to the church and the father makes the little boy sit in the confession booth and he closes the door. The boy says, "It's dark in here." The priest says, "Don't start that crap again."

It all started when I forgot to put down the kickstand.  We all do it once every few years, and it was my time. Rode into the garage, turned off the ignition and was certainly thinking about something else. I turned the handlebars to the left, lifted my left leg to put the bike on the kickstand, and started to get off, as the bike just kept on laying over in slow motion. We all havel had that feeling. Certainly no damage as it just layed over easy on the carpet.  Layed there for about 2 hrs until my son helped pick it up.  Gas ran out of carb until I turned off the gas, and float bowl emptied.   Now, as I ride it, the engine will pop and backfire like it injested a June bug, until the revs are higher, and am in second or third gear.  Coming to a stop, it starves for gas and stalls. Starts right up. Intermittant problem. Top end runs fine, and will idle fine. Problem now only exists accelerating from 1st. Removed Mikuni 42 Carb, cleaned completely, and made no adjustments or changes. Replaced gas, and made sure petcock and filter is clean. Same problem. Any ideas where to look next?   2001 FLHT 1450 Mikuni 42 Stock exhaust Thanks, Bruce
